From This Day Forward by Lauraine Snelling

From This Day Forward
by
 Lauraine Snelling

I have read many books by  Lauraine Snelling so I looked very forward to From This Day Forward. She has a beautiful way of writing. I love reading her books!

First of all, I would recommend reading this previous books in the series first. To Everything a Season, A Harvest of Hope, and Streams of Mercy are the previous books in the series. They are all great and gives the reader of From This Day Forward foundation of the characters.

From This Day Forward follows Deborah MacCallister, a nurse in South Dakota and two men, Toby Valders and Anton Genddarm through their complicated lives relying on faith and love. Deborah must choose between her career and the man her heart longs for.

The characters are charming and all in all it's a great continuation of the series. One thing is that this book does start off a little slow, but stick with  it, it's a great book!

Where Hope Prevails by Janette Oke and Laurel Oke Logan

Where Hope Prevails
by
Janette Oke and Laurel Oke Logan

Where Hope Prevails (Return to the Canadian West) is book three in the series. I love anything by Janette Oke; she is one of the best authors (in my opinion!). I was super excited to dive into this book. I am a huge fan of the Canadian West series. I cannot tell you how many times I have read through the When Call the Heart series. Or watched the TV series.

So getting the change to have more to the story is ridiculous exciting. However, with all that being said about how big of a fan I am makes me very tough on the newer books.

Don't get me wrong. I love the books. I love everything these authors write. But I needed more to this story. I love Elizabeth and Jack. A a fan, we needed more of them in the books. More in depth. More to their lives. There are some tangents. Not that it makes the book bad. It's not. It's very good. But like I said. Super fan. Haha

Where Hope Prevails takes readers back to Coal Valley. A wedding between Elizabeth and Jack. Problems at the school with a new teacher. And a new job opportunity for Jack. Adventure, love, and preservation. Where Hope Prevails is a great addition to the series.

A Beauty Refined - Tracie Peterson

A Beauty Refined
-Tracie Peterson

This is the second in the Sapphire Brides series.

First of all let me say I really enjoyed the first book in the series, A Treasure Concealed. I think Tracie Peterson is a fantastic writer and she does an amazing job creating amazing stories.

A Beauty Refined takes place when Phoebe Von Bergen travels with her father to Montana from Germany in the early 1900's. They travel to purchase sapphires, however Phoebe's father isn't honest about his plans there. While there she learns that her mother (whom her father told her was dead) was still alive and that her father has chosen her husband. Phoebe's world as an obedient daughter is turned upside down and she learns of her father's plans and becomes close to her mother. All while traveling and finding out secrets Phoebe meets Ian, a lapidary. In meeting him Phoebe they find something in each other that was missing. However, as lies are revealed, danger is lurking.

All in all, an easy read and very enjoyable!

A Worthy Heart by Susan Anne Mason

A Worthy Heart by Susan Anne Mason

First of all, I cannot tell you  enough how much I loved this story! Usually I don't start off just telling this, but I really loved this book.

To start... the cover. How beautiful!

Then, we move into the book. I love second chances. The opportunity to make something right. To make the future burst into something beautiful. This book tells the story of Maggie and Gabe, Rylan, and also Mason. Yes, this book follows several characters. Loved this way that the author penned these stories of all of these intertwined characters! It was different than the usual "couple" book. It was romantic, adventurous, and had historical value too (which I love!).

I definitely recommend.  I was glued to this. One of my new favorites!
