A Noble Masquerade Review

A Noble Masquerade
By Kristi Ann Hunter

This is the first book by  Kristi Ann Hunter that I have read. There is an e-novella that comes before it; A Lady of Esteem, however I have yet to sit down to add it to my collection.

I was intrigued by the plot.   Set in the early 1800's in England, Beautiful Lady Miranda and her desire to be carefree and adventures are not what is expected of her. But her heart leads her to more than she is "supposed" to be. With spinsterhood around the corner, she is reminded of proper behavior and etiquette that had begun as a child. While striving to live in her world of proper ladyship, she experiences humor, adventure, and of course, love, especially when it involves the Duke of Marshington!

I really enjoyed this book. I will certainly give this author a try in the future with her further additions to the series. It was something different that I've read before, very nice for a change.

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Review

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort Review

Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort was super exciting. 6 pools, marshmallow roasting, kids games by the pool, and that is just the tip of all of the exciting things resort has to offer!

As you can see Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a huge resort!

The rooms were so nice! So comfortable, and of course you get the Disney Channel when you feel like putting your feet up and relaxing!

And the architecture was beautiful.  The buildings and gardens were all so nice to look at.

Hope you enjoyed seeing some of Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort!

A Bride at Last Book Review

A Bride at Last
-Melissa Jagears

First of all, how cute is this cover?!  I think a book cover can mean so much. After all, that is the first thing you notice about the book! It draws your attention... and this one is just adorable. Look at the way this gentleman is looking toward his love; it's lovingly and playful.

If I had a rating to give this book, it would be 5 stars! Will love be strong enough to prevail?! The second in the series (A Bride in Store) brings you the story of Silas and Kate. Through many twists and turns,
Melissa Jagears does an amazing job showing you the true character of these two people who, have been through so much in their lives. When their lives come together, love shines! Beautiful story that is wonderfully written, A Bride at Last brings a great book to the table. Enjoyable to say the very least. Excellent!

Amish Promises Book Review

Amish Promises
by Leslie Gould

Amish Promises is a beautifully written story. Really, truly, absolutely heartwarming. I enjoyed this book immensely.

Through Amish Promises, author Leslie Gould takes diversity and intertwines faith, love, and hope of something better, something greater with her characters.  It is a strong story,  very interesting.

Also another excellent part of the story is the author touching on the subject of PTSD. I think she adds this excellently in this book. It's such an important issue that needs more understanding and it certainly brings it to light through her characters.

If you love Amish books, I'm sure you will love Amish Promises. I am already looking forward to the next book in the series!

Where Trust Lies by Janette Oke & Laurel Oke Logan Book Review

Where Trust Lies
by Janette Oke & Laurel Oke Logan

First of all, let me just begin by saying what a huge fan of Janette Oke I am! For certain she is one of my most favorite writers, ever. So I was super excited when I found out that she wrote another book with her daughter, Laurel Oke Logan. So let's get into this amazing book!

Let me just say, the cover is beautiful! The background is stunning, and sets the mood for this book. Where Trust Lies is the second in the Return to the Canadian West series and did not disappoint in the continuing Canadian West series.

Elizabeth returns to her family after being a teacher in the Canadian West in this continued story. As she hopes that things will be the same with her family, being away for so long has strained the relationships of the Thatcher family. And with returning to her family, brought feelings that she left in the West for Canadian Mountie Jarrick. Finding her faith and overcoming obstacles, Elizabeth finds her way back to what really matters in life.

Very good read in my opinion! Janette Oke and Laurel Oke Logan did it again with another wonderful book!

Beyond All Dreams by Elizabeth Camden Book Review

Beyond All Dreams
 by Elizabeth Camden
Just from the cover alone, I could tell that this book would be interesting!  Anytime a beautiful sweeping staircase graces the front of a book, it certainly peeks my interest.

Diving into the book I was pleasantly surprised by this story. Anna O'Brien is a librarian.  But in no way is this boring! She is a librarian at the Library of Congress.  Anna stumbles onto a mystery that happened at sea and is determined to find out what happened. In finding her answers for the mystery ship, Anna will find answers to help her in her own life.

There is a lot that goes on in this book. It is certainly one that you have to pay close attention to all of the details.  I think that Elizabeth Camden does an excellent job with every bit of historical tidbits that she brings to her books. Super exciting, and definitely interesting!
