Legoland Review

We love Legos in our house. So when our homeschool group set up a field trip to Legoland we were so excited!  Legos everywhere? Lego Rides? Lego stores? Lego themed show??  Oh yeah! Sounds like fun!

 How cute is this??  I can't believe all of the detail.  I know I expected detail, but they really did put small details into every part of the park.  I think this is so fantastic for the kids imaginations!  You can build pretty much anything with legos!

This is so crazy!! It's the space shuttle built out of legos! Not only fun, but educational too!

I LOVE this pirate ship!!  One of my favorite parts of mini land!

And the shows were totally cool!! We were so entertained! So exciting!

And I can't forget the boys favorite part of going...Star Wars!

It was a fantastically fun day at Legoland Florida.  Entertaining, terrific fun on the rides, and sights to see everywhere you turn.  What a great field trip!

Isadora's Gourmet Goods is created from a farm that lies along the Columbia River in Washington. It is a family business, that, from veggie and fruit gardens,  makes wonderful, healthful certified organic products.

This is certainly one of my favorite new shops! I had so much fun reviewing this lovely shop.  The flavors sooth your spirit and make your taste-buds so happy! But not only that, the scents from the lavender infused items invigorated your senses! 

I am so excited when I here about a sustainable shop... I love to garden, but am not able to get much from it.  So when someone dedicates so much to creating their product, it means so much more when you take the time to enjoy it.

First we had a chance to review some jam.

 This is the Organic Lavender Jam

 

 

 LOVE this!!

  

 It is smooth, fragrant, and yummy.  I cannot believe how good it is.  While you can put this on many things, I learned my favorite thing to put it on is homemade biscuits!!  It has a wonderful fresh flavor. 

The Organic Blackberry Lavender Jam...

No junk!! Only the freshest ingredients. I think it is wonderful that Isadora's grows what they put in their products.  I can just imagine the rows of lavender that are growing to put in this wonderful jam!

 

 The pickled beets!

 

 Our beets are ready to be eaten... and eaten they were!  They were better than I remember my great grandmother's pickled beets to be.  I don't know how, but these were pickled to perfection.

 

 Seseame Ginger Sauce and Marinade

Ok, so here's where I oops-ed.  The chicken smell and looked SO GOOD...

I forgot to get a picture of the finished product!!! We just wanted to eat it and I forgot!

So, ----insert beautifully cooked chicken that smells delicious and tastes even better here----- (how is that possible??!!  It smells amazing!)

But, the flavor was spot on.  So, so delish!!  The best Sesame Ginger glaze we have had to date!

Isadoras Gourmet Goods has many other different items as well... from Organic Lavender Honey Mustard to Bistro Dressing and Organic Pepper Jelly, you can certainly find something to add to your table!  Be sure to check them out!

I love good books that mean something.  I think it's amazing when they really talk to your heart. 

Letters to Lori is one of those books.  It is the true story of Opal Myers, a strong, loving woman who loved, cared for, and changed the lives of people in Cocke County Tn.

Opal Myers shared these "letters" (words written through cassette recording). Beautiful life lessons, strong faith and family history, this book brings to life what life really was like for those living in the great smoky mountains many years ago.

Barbara League does an amazing job bringing this to paper.  You can feel the emotions, struggles, and love that was felt through the pages of this book.

Reading Letters to Lori really makes you think. It gives you a sense of purpose, love, and hope.  Opal Myers was truly an amazing, loving person and through this book you hear her speak.

Ok, so this is one of those "go to" shops... Go to for birthday gifts, go to for Christmas gifts, go to for a thank you...and go to for me!!  I cannot even begin to tell you how DELICIOUS everything was that we tried from  Brazos River Cannery!

They offer so many things... and I seriously can't pick a favorite!  I mean, Dr Pepper Jelly??  Moscato Sangria Jelly?? Then there are the meat rubs.. like Brisket Rub and Brown Sugar Rub. And then the flavored popcorns;  Italian, Cajun, and Ranch!!  My taste buds are doing a happy dance!

First let me tell you about one of the most delicious jellys I have every tasted...

Blackberry Wine Jelly (yes, wine on your toast!)

Homemade bread with Blackberry Wine Jelly...yup, it's what's for breakfast!

This is SO YUMMY.  The flavor is crazy good.  It is a burst of total deliciousness.  I am so putting this on vanilla ice cream too!!  But I adore it on my toast in the morning.


Then we tried the popcorn...

Popping away! Nothing like FRESH popcorn!

And the finished popcorn. It is light, perfectly flavored, and super yummy!  It makes a huge bowl of popcorn and my whole family said it was super delicious.

 My hubby put it on the grill...

And is was AMAZING.  Like... award winning flavor in our own backyard...  We are going to be ordering more and it will be a staple for seasoning our bbq.  The kids loved it, my parents loved it, and my hubby and I loved it. So, so delicious.

Main Street Electrical Parade

Main Street Electrical Parade

We love hanging out at Disney; from the rides and the food, to the fireworks and parades.

Which means we really love the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disney's Magic Kingdom.

We were able to get amazing seats at this particular parade... and it was well worth the wait for it to begin!

We love the lights, music, and fun!  This is amazing to relax and have some cotton candy from one of the vendors (yummy!) We love hanging out after a long day of rides and shows and watch one of our all time favorite parades.

I mean really?!  This is truly so cool! Love that they brought it back after being gone for so many years.

 I was so excited to get the chance to review the shampoo/bodywash and bodybody.   The scent sounded wonderful... Blueberry Honey Love!  When I opened the box I was thrilled to find these beautiful treasures!

Aren't they great?! Super cute!

Here is the Shampoo/ Body Wash. It has an invigorating scent. Like a burst of freshness. Seriously, Blueberry Honey is a wonderful scent!  And I love the lather of this.  Very lovely!

And the Body Butter! Ok, I must say that I have had a ridiculously bad sunburn. I was over the top excited that this body butter not only had a wonderful, light scent but I love the texture. It feels amazing on my sunburn, and smoothed and cooled it off. I can't wait to use this when I don't have a sunburn; but for now, it is certainly helping my burned dry skin.

Mother Earth Skincare has amazing products that are such to make you (and someone special...think perfect birthday gift or stocking stuffer!!) feel super special.
